If a friend is having a birthday, then please do be sensible. They may be the ultimate seafood lover, but if you are suffering from a seafood allergy, then don’t take the risk. Let your friend know straight away. They may then change the event or even ring ahead and see if the venue has alternatives. There is always a solution, it is just where you look!
